Look I have groomed dogs before. I meant what tools to I need. I don't think I need to be certified because I live in the country and nobody cares about that.

  2. Dogs!

  3. Well even though it is a great idea to get certified as a pet grooming there are no laws in the United States that require you to be licensed, how do you think they find all those groomers for Petco and PetsMart? So that aside and after dealing with whatever you have to do to open your own business in your city I would start checking out Pet Edge. They have all the accessories you need to start and maintain your own grooming shop. They have stackable kennels, grooming tables of the highest quality along with wash tubs, and all the grooming equipment ranging in price and value with all of the best brands.. They also have uniforms for your employees, a log book, signs, and grooming books. I highly recommend them they are great! I buy my shampoo in bulk from them and I only purchase my clippers and scissors from their store.

These are the clippers I have. They work great for all jobs, are durable and has two speeds!

  4. You need a shop, a groomer, dogs, and employees.

  5. a license from the dept of health, and training.

  6. First you need to be properly trained as a groomer. Training includes how to handle pets who are frightened or excited. You will also need to get a local business license and insurance. A good groomer will use the best equipment, not the least expensive.

  7. First and foremost, you need to go to school to become a certified dog groomer.

Obviously you don't like to be told you need training.
