  1. Dude, a friend of mine does that, and he saw someone killed just a little while back, it is brutal.  Think hard impact, twisted neck...   There is a reason they call these 'extreme sports' - you have to not care if you are alive tomorrow.

  2. KNEE PADS.....

    a helmet....knee pads...insurance...knee pads...a harness (if your kite has a control bar or a strop)...knee pads...a big kite...knee pads...a bigger kite...knee pads...more money...knee pads...a huge kite...knee pads...an overdraft

    hope this helps

  3. You normally do not need any assistance launching or landing your kite, unless you are trying to launch, or land on a crowded beach, or the beach has considerable shore break.  Different kites (4-line C, 5-line C, Bow/SLE) require different launching, landing, and water relaunching techniques, and your vendor, kite manual, or instructor can explain the correct technique for your kite. Self-landing a kite on a crowded beach would put others at risk, therefore, a self-landing type maneuver at a safe distance from shore is called for.  If attempting to land your kite to someone on the beach, identify that person as a kiter by communicating hands signals.  If you want someone to assist in launching your kite, be sure to ask first if he or she kite boards, and again, establish hand signals before separating.  That is all you need to know.  I found this on a kite board site.  It should help.  Alright?

  4. You need to take a class bro. cause if you dont learn the wind will take you where it pleases.

The kite usually comes with the straps and gear.
