I have read on some websites that a pet passport is not needed, but I don't know what is.

  1. A good strong lead.

  2. You'll probably need a pet passport (seriously) and your dog might have to go into quarantine for a while (not sure about dogs coming from Britain). Ring up the custom offices and they can give you a lot more information than I can =)

  3. Nothing.  Just put him in the car and get the ferry over.

  4. You don't need anything at all. As far as animals are concerned, the British Isles are regarded as a common travel area and no documents or inoculations are required.
