What do I need to take my laptop overseas?

do i need a converter for my dell laptop? i have a travl adapter but do i need something to convert voltage?

Yes all you will need is a trale converter. It plugs into the outlet and then you plus your laptop into it. Most travel most computer store carry this travel converter.

You need to check on the label of the voltage transformer (which is the box type thing on the power cable of your laptop that converts mains voltage to 12V.) to see which voltage it supports. I checked the transformer on my dell laptop's power cable, and it says 100-240, which is fine for any country around the world that I know of. So all you'll need is a travel adapter for the different shaped sockets.
