  1. 1) A Bong and/or Rizlas

    2) Grub

    3) Bog roll

  2. deodrant, condoms, alchohal(optional) drugs (optional) money, some basic food, bottles for water, a cap or suntan lotion or youll be proper burned, and your ticket. have a good time and hope this helped

  3. disposable cameraaaa. better than a digital camera cos if you lose it, its not a big deal.

  4. Bottled Water

Sun Cream - Just in case

    Food

    Clothes for Sun/Rain/Cold Nights

    Painkillers (For that killer headache)

Toilet Paper (Lots of it - it can be as good as money in a trade)

Wet Wipes / Baby Wipes - Queues for the shower can be bad

    Camera if needed

Wallet for your person. Dont leave this in the tent!!

Blankets or Chairs - to sit on

A Bin Bag - great makeshift poncho!

    Wellies!

Ear Plugs - for the times when you REALLY need to sleep

First Aid Kit - just in case! Plasters become a Godsend!

Dont forget to bring old clothes, and store some in those black bags so you will have a spare DRY set!

And finally,  flag to mark your tent! Make this one unique. Everyones gonna have their country colours - so take something else. Every tried to find your tent in the dark/lashing rain/through beer goggles?? This is VERY IMPORTANT!!

    Oh, and enjoy :o)

  5. water - wet wipes -  old clothes - and mile of toilet rolls

  6. Dry Shampoo. (if you care about your hair)

A set of underwear for each day (+1.)

Babywipes. (yeah, the festival way of washing)

Bottle of water, (for brushing your teeth)

Your alcohol/substances (getting it there is too expencive)

A sledge (to drag your carry out and bag along the grass, trust me it's a lifesaver)

Toilet Roll (portaloo's never have any)

Face paints (so you can look cool like everybody else)

Wellies (in case it rains which it probobally will)

    Trainers/Sandles (incase it doesn't) ;)

    Lots of socks! (self explanitry)

Sun cream (I got burnt this year at a fest already)

    Condoms (you filthy boy!)

Cigarettes (take at least 100 i'd say, you smoke more)

  7. Ok in addition to what you've said:

    -pillow

-new battery's for your torch (you don't want to take used ones in case they run out)

    -toilet roll

-penknife (to cut things, open bottles  etc)

    -spare clothes

    -a big bottle of water

    -sun cream

-dry shampoo, soap, baby wipes, deodorant, toothbrush + toothpaste  etc.

-enough cash to last the whole 3 days

    -gas cooker

    -lighter

    -sauce pan

    -easy to cook food

    -can opener

  8. lots of zoots

  9. Toilet paper, even if you go for one day take lots of tissues but you can never have too much toilet paper

    Wet wipes

    Sun Block

    Sun Glasses

Lots of Water/an empty bottle to top from the taps on site

Lots of money - make sure you locate the cash machines on site

    Condoms

If you're travelling by public transport make sure you get a return travel ticket - last year I bought the wrong tickets going to Reading & we wound up in the biggest queue you've ever seen in your life to buy a ticket to get back to London on the Monday morning.  Just in case you lose your ticket, make sure you have cash set aside.

Think about how you're going to feed yourself & budget accordingly, eating on site can be expensive

Also drinking alcohol, it can eat into your cash, cause you to become dehydrated & may severely impair your judgement

In terms of clothes, check the weather forecast & what they expect the grounds to be like because you might like to take wellies & a poncho/raincoat, or just buy them when you get there for convenience.  If bad weather is expected you might like to take some jeans or pants you don't mind getting wrecked.

  10. an empty pillow case, then put some soft clothes in it at night to turn it into an instant pillow, the wurst thing about camping is trying to get to sleep if you lay on your side your head barley touches the ground and you wake up with a stiff neck

also take some wet wipes, they will freshen you up with a mini wash in the morning and can be used as toilet paper for a number 2, toilet facilities are very third world at concerts, i dont recomend you use one with a hangover the next morning

  11. WELLIES, SOFT SHOES, SHORTS, JEANS, JUMPER, TSHIRT, WATER PROOF JACKET, PLENTY OF SOCKS, UNDERWEAR, HAT, SUNGLASSES, SUNCEREAM, ALCOHOL, PYJAMAS, CAMPING CHAIR, WIPES, TOILET ROLL, DRY SHAMPOO, PARACETOMOL, IMMODIUM, PLASTERS.

  12. I would highly suggest wearing shorts / cropped trousers.  Don't take full length trousers.  The reason being (typical british weather), if it rains, it's easier and more comfortable to dry off the bottom half of your legs than it is to wear soggy trousers for 3 days (or taking 3 pairs of trousers, which would take a lot of space).

Wellies are also a must, you don't want to spoil your favourite trainers / shoes if they got soggy and muddy thoughout 3 days.

Suncream and aftersun (in case you're lucky with the weather).  A big empty waterbottle (so you can fill it up there - less weight to carry to the festival), a spork (those fork and spoon thing) or a compact knift, fork and spoon usually found a camping shops.  Tins of beans, sausage and beans, boiled sweets.  Some places even do the space food, where you can re-hydrate it, great space saver and less mess.

One last thing, everyone will have tents, and finding yours can be tricky, especially at night.  So try and 'label' it with something no one else has, for example, a pillow cover with it written on in waterproof pen something you'll know "Big Bobs bouncy tent'.. well you get the idea.  Have fun!!

  13. EAR PLUGS

  14. You need to make sure you take an open mind,..man,..

  15. Beer, Starchy food, Asprin, Camping pillow, Camping mat(even better bring an inflatable one), a pad lock for your tent to ward away thieves who are jealous of your mat, wet and face wipes, toilet rolls, dry shampoo, tons of deodorant, a set of spare clothes per weather condition, beenie and socks for bed as it can be freezing at nights and a cold can put a dampner on a festival. Mouth wash is a winner too as a fresh mouth can make you feel awesome after a nights indulgence.

Most of all bring a laid back attitude since less self conscience you feel the better you'll feel. If you wake up and think you look a mess, remember everyone else does too.

  16. ticket, wellies, snack food, water, alochol, money, spare clothes, waterproof clothes, spare shoes, thermals, extra socks, pillow, tissues, toilet paper, condoms, face/body wipes, toothbrush, tooth paste, deodorant, sunscreen, fly/ bug repellent, hat, sunnies, bandaides for blisters, mobile phone, wallet, ear plugs, any medication you take... that's all I can think of.

  17. Some rocks.

  18. bog rolls

  19. Ibruprofen, vitamin c,

  20. Beans and a sleeping bag (although the latter's optional). Oh and like the other very wise owl suggested..... TOILET PAPER!

  21. One addition to the advise above.

A couple of bin liners, you can sit on them, or shelter under them, or wear one to keep the British weather out.

They also come in handy for keeping your (clean) clothes dry.

  22. Toilet paper,,,

  23. How about a stick of rock

  24. Baby wipes, deodorant, toilet roll, booze, water, pain killers, food, clothes, sun cream, £ and clothes!

That should do u, plz plz plz, dont forget the baby wipes!!!! lol

  25. Rocks?

I went to a flower festival and people were taking flowers.

  26. Ear plugs if you value your hearing! I lost 20% in my right ear and 10% in my left from not plugging my ears at concerts/gigs etc... Look after those ears buddy, you'll need them in the future. It's not just about hearing, it affects your balance too, I also have vertigo, it sucks!

  27. After spending the weekend at the download festival i can honestly tell you the most important things to take are ....

    Toilet Paper

    Tent

    Something to sit on

Money (lots of it stuff is expensive)

Beer (only way to get through it)

If you can organize it take some fold up wheelie thing to carry your stuff .. the campsite at download was miles from the car park and carrying all the stuff was annoying.

Warm top (it gets colder than you think at night)

    Things to leave at home

Disposable BBQ (they dont work very well)

Food (There is enough on sale you dont want the extra weight)

Torch (most of the campsites are well lit)

  28. Baby Wipes!!!! Trust me were a godsend at Reading because you could keep relatively clean and not smell like the toilets at the end of the 3rd day

  29. ok ive bin to festivals for a many a year now and i see and laugh at all the first timers who dont ask people and they bring huge luggage bags and electrical appliances....

heres what i take as a guy:

beer unless you dont drink, bring alot if you do though since you dont want to run out, no glass bottles are aloud in to the camp area, your bags will have a brief check as you arrive to check

money about £150 (not needed though last year i spent about £3 - on a bottle of coke, yeah everything is really expensive so i wont bother buying alot of burgers since they cost £5+)

2 sets of clothes, dry clothes which you wear at night to keep dry incase it rains, and the other pair for the day if it rains you dont want to ruin your weekend with wet clothes.

food! bring lots of pasta and things what are easy to cook (obviously bring a cheap gas cooker! and something to clean it with) bring alot of sweets and snacks since you will get hungry alot

tent (duh, dont bother bringing a 10man tent if theres only 2 of you, you want to bring as little as possible as the walks from the car parks to the camping areas can be a trek!)

torch - for at night dont wanna trip over peoples tents

wet wipes, always handy espesh after going to the toilets....YUCKY TOILETS!!!

sun cream, last year at leeds it was so hot and i forgot to bring any and came home looking like a tomato

old mobile phone, try not bring your brand new phone with you, you lose it you will be crying about it and it will ruin your weekend.

camping chair, handy for when you want to chill with a beer in your hand

i wouldnt bother bringing a condom, not many people want to have s*x with someone who hasnt washed properly in 2days!

thats all you mainly need basically, just dont go with copious amounts of stuff as you wont use it and it could get nicked!

also dont worry about people getting in your tent, no one does it, since you will get to know the people around you and they will look after you and you look after them!

  30. Rocks

  31. dry hair shampoooo! :) X
