I have: 2 Old Bell Recievers, and Old Bell Dish, and HD TV

Simple answer - HD programming services and HD receiver/tuners.

All of the major TV providers should be able to provide HD content.  In the US, any of the cable companies, DirecTV or Dish Network can provide you HD content, provided you're subscribed to HD services, and have HD compatible equipment.  I've never heard of the Bell receivers and dish you've mentioned, so I couldn't say..

Also, you can tune local stations broadcasting in HD with an antenna.  This is called OTA (Over The Air, aka Off The Air).

There are many easy way's of upgrading to hdtv viewing.

If your living in america, there are excellent tv servers like verizon hd and comcast and also directv and tivo which all have a broad amount of hd channels in their services. They all have their own digital receiver box which you can connect to your hdtv for viewing hd channels.

If your living in the uk, sky hd and virgin media cable are the top choices for receiving hd channels, sky is currently the best, showcasing a good variety of hd content.

There is also a new arrival called freesat hd, which is essentially freeview but through a satellite connection instead and shows free off air hd channels. There aren't many freesat hd channels at the moment, but its expected to have more channels in the near future.

Panasonic's latest flatscreens have freesat hd built in the tv's so you can find and store channels just by connecting the cable. Many hdtv's also come with freeview built in so you can automatically store channels without the need for an external receiver box.

If you want the best movie performance on an hdtv, blu ray is the top choice with its incredible picture performance and eye popping detail.

There are a large variety of blu ray films and is continuing to grow all the time.

Panasonic have an excellent one which is cheap and has excellent performance and playback.

Sony's playstation 3 also has the ability to play blu-ray disks, as well as games, music and other media.

In order to play your blu-ray player with the best quality playback, an hdmi cable is required.

An hdmi cable is like a digital scart, being able to carry both video and sound through the same connection.

Your hdtv should have a number of hdmi sockets to connect the blu-ray player, so you just connect the hdmi cable into the blu-ray players hdmi socket and then connect the other end of the hdmi cable into one of the hdmi sockets on the hdtv, your tv should notice a new connection. And as soon as you switch on your blu-ray player, the hdtv should instantly recognize the blu-ray player and display it on your tv.
