Ok, so I took the plunge and based on friend recommendations I am going to ATI. I am going with 5 friends total.3 that are Jamaican that live here in the states, 1 that is Dominican, and 1 other that lives in Jamaica, in town.(Kingston to be eaxct) none of which have been there My next question is what do I pack besides the obvious bathing suites, shorts, and flip flops. I am staying at Hedoism II again based on friend recommendations. What do I expect? I am a young 30 year old Jamaican Indian, is this gonna be my speed or will I be bombarded my horny teenagers looking for orgies? I have been given mixed reviews from people that I know so naturally I chose to get the opinions of strangers; that way there is no bias. WELL PEOPLE?????????????? Oh, LOL, last question did we pick the right hotel?

  1. ATI is very busy, very crowded. Many come in from Kingston, like about 20k people just to see ATI.. The parties are good, and last all day and all night. Some more crowded than others.. Not an orgy, that I have seen, but a lot of dancing and partying. The traffic is crazy!!!! They were running shuttles up and down the beach, not sure if they are still going to do that though. Unfortunately at Hedo you are not an easy walk to everything. As many of the party's are on the Long Bay beach, not by Hedo.. Hedo is a good time, and you may be surprised by some of the acts staying there. I know Elephant man stayed there before.. Just keep an open mind about Hedo.. The cabs at Hedo will charge you more to take you places. Just walk out to the road and grab a cab, negotiate the price first.. Check out http://www.negrilinfo.com for many helpful tips and a map..

Being Independence/ Emancipation week you will be hard pressed to find many rooms available.. That week sells out fast. Next time look into Coco LaPalm, as it's very central to the action, so it's an easier walk to everything.

It's pretty hot and humid in August so pack light. Think dancing, sweating, drinking..

  2. Pack things you would'nt normally. Don't forget to bring your sunscreen. For clothes pack casual wear and formal wear for different things or occasions you plan to do there. Also a bikini and most important of all SUN GLASSES !

  3. Pack normally lol - meaning pack as if you were not going to Hedo - sure you'll be wearing less clothes, but you'll be dressing up for dinner and entertainment purposes - also you may want a bathing suit if your butt gets sunburned LOL

PS. Heard hedo was amazing, you'll have a great time!
