I found a lot of talent agencies that I want to apply for.

When I call them what do I say?

Should I send in my resume and headshot before calling them?

Do you think they want to represent a beginning actress.

HELP ME PLEASE!

  1. Send in a resume and a headshot.  Tell them you have no money and all your friends are poor.  If they still contact you, it's genuine.

  2. Well I know this guy that is making a movie. Singers, Writers, Actors, Musicians, and Help is needed. You don't need any experience. I'm going to audition for it too! If you want more information just email me at Superstargrll555@yahoo.com

  3. Send your resume, headshot, and a cover letter.

Google "acting cover letters" to find out how to write it.

You can write "I will call in a week to make sure you got this package in one piece"

YES SEND THE HS/R BEFORE CALLING THEM.

then call them in a week and say "My name is ____, and I was just calling as I promised in my cover letter. I don't want to take up your time, I'm just making sure you got my package in one piece." Always give them a chance to end the conversation..

But the convo might go somewhere and maybe you'll get to go in for an interview!

They won't want to rep. a beginning actress unless you have training and at least some experience with plays. So make sure you have training!!!!!!!
