  1. tell the  judge that you pay his salary, and demand he drop the case. if that doesent work ask him "Is it true that people become cops because they are too dumb to work at

    McDonalds? "

  2. Having a baby in the car does not prove you were not speeding, so I doubt that will be considered by the judge. The officer will testify to his observations, and you will have the opportunity to cross examine him on that testimony.Because of his training and experience, his testimony will be given more weight. This makes it difficult for you to win a speeding case.

You may be better off talking to the prosecutor right before the trial, and see if he offers you a deal. If you go through the trial, and get found guilty, the judge will probably not give you a break.

  3. Nothing you will say will help you and if the judge finds out there was a baby in the car,you are toast. You better say as little as possible.

    25 over ain't chicken feed.

  4. Appeal the conviction to the next court.   If you want ask the officer a question, I would learn if he has had the radar calibrated before the date of your citation.  Is he trained in calibration of radar equipment.   Remember that the judge and the traffic cop are both government employees and the verdict will go against you because you did not hire a lawyer to challenge the credibility and legality of the stop. It is a money raising project.  It has nothing to do with public safety.  It happens to people everyday.  I avoid all small towns no matter how far I have drive around on the interstate to get home.  It is a national joke. But, these people are keeping each other employed.  It is not about public safety.  It is about hiring more public "servants."  It is your Democratic party in action all over small town politics. 25 mph over the limit could be reckless driving in some jurisdictions.  You wait until the day before to discuss the matter?  That is a shame.

  5. Just tell the Judge what you said here.Ask the Police-Officer (if he/she hows up) of proof. State about your immaculate driving-record and say that this is a mistake.Remember, they have to prove that you are guilty not the other way.

    Good Luck.

  6. Tell the judge the baby was drinking and not you.

    Oh speeding ticket...

    Right....

    You sneezed.

You lost control, the foot hit the gas, and the cop pulled you over.

No one has control if you sneexe while driving.

Better yet had a DD for the night and the baby was driving you home.

    Good Luck!

I'l see you from the Jury Box.
