What do I use a Moulin [vegetable mill] for?

Question

I was given one as a gift, can i put raw vegetables in it, or is it just for mashing potatoes and cooked foods? any ideas or recipes for this tool would be appreciated, thanks.

I used mine to puree my babies' food when they first started on solids.

Very similar in principle to a magic bullet.
