What do I use to seal my old cement sink?

I have a old sink made of cement. its starting to leak on the bottem by the drain. I want to seal it, hoping it will last for awhile. Not sure what it use?.....can anyone help......thanks

  1. you can try hydraulic cement it supposed to be water proof

You could try using caulk if its just a small area.  Just be sure that when you apply the caulking the sink is completely dry and you have at least 24 hours to let it dry before exposing it to water.  I know of a least one kind of caulking that is mold and mildew resistant, I would recommend this one because of the amount of moisture that is sure to accumulate.

  3. If you go to the local big box store, you'll find replacement utility sinks for $50 or less.

    It might just be time to buy one...
