  1. muriatic acid wont do a thing to the paint...paint remover or pressure wash ...maybe both...

  2. The acid attacks the concrete, not the paint.

It won't be effective until you've got most of the

    paint off.

Plastic is the better container for acid.

Metal for acetone or paint remover.

    Don't use acetone indoors.

Those fumes are a cumulative, (sneaky), toxin.

By the time you 'feel' anything, you're already in trouble.

  3. pressure wash it let it dry than get some opps or some acetone put it in a sprat bottle spray it on good let it sit it will bubble up than scrape it off than pressure wash it over and over until it is gone it is hard to get paint off of brick it gets down into the cracks

  4. Muriatic acid is for swimming pools. You need sulphuric acid for this job.

  5. Do not use that acid, it is very dangerous as is sulfuric acid.  Use a paint stripper.

  6. the acid is used on concrete for "etching" it for painting or other applications.   Have really good ventilation and rubbers or boots on.    Remove the ;paint with any stripper.  If you have 3 days a good removed is Peel Off.   It is applied  and immediately covered with a paper supplied with it or a quality ;plastic wrap.  The 3 da;y Peel Off is more forgiving and ecologically safer.   the one day takes 2  people as the covering needs to be applied INSTANTLY.

  7. You need a paint stripper, not an acid.  Get some SoyGel stripper, brush it on liberally, allow to penetrate the old paint then scrape the whole mess off.  Finish be washing the floor with water.  Allow to dry thoroughly before you apply any other finish.

SoyGel is environmentally friendly, has no odor, so you can use it indoors, is non toxic and nonreactive.  Plus it works great!
