What do I used first.... Facial wash or make up remover?

So today I bought ''neutrgena visibly clear oil free facial wash'' AND ''neutrogena visibly clear oil free make up remover''... So which one should I used first e.g. do I wash my face with facial wash than used the make up remover or is it the opposite way???

And have any of you used those neutrogena stuff.. and does it work e.g. help clear the spots/acne etc.

You would want to use the make-up remover first to get off the layer of makeup like mascara, liner, blush, foundation, shadow, so when you do wash your face its acutally rinsing out your pores and washing your face instead of trying to get the make up off. This way you'll feel cleaner and see more results.

Though personally, I don't like neutregena anything. I rather go organic with Yes to Carrtos, but its always worth a try. If not I know lots of home remedies for acne of all kids, shrinking pores, make your face glow sort of stuff.

What I use is make up remober first. hat way, if there is any little makeup left, or any resedue, it washes off with the face wash. I used Neutrogena Acne Stress Control and it did okay :]

You want to use your makeup remover first, If you go straight into washing your face you will just be swooshing the makeup around on your skin, therefore you will be washing you skin with facesoap and makeup. Remove the makeup with makeup remover and then wash your skin with face wash!

Make up remover first.  The face wash it more to get rid of oil on the skin, which will be coming up UNDER the makeup.  Take the make up off, then you can clean whatever is underneath.  

It's like getting undressed before a shower...!

get of your make up first so that you can clean your pores with the wash. i use the wash and it's okay. it just keeps your face non-oily.

Ok, First you should use make up remover. Try to gently get off as much mascara,lipstick, eyeliner,etc off as possible before washing your face. The reason is is because when you wash you eyelashes they tend to break off or become frail because of the pulling. So then after removing as much make up off wash your face to get the rest of your make up off and to get you skin clean.

As for the Oil Free Cleanser actually working that's probably a no. Sorry, but its too gentle. You would need to use a Benz oil Peroxide Sal acidic Acid or Sulfur Acne spot treatment along with the wash. You could even consider a toner. When purchasing a toner though you should look for one that is a little moisturizing because toners tend to dry out the skin completely. But they do work really well.

yes, neutrogena works! use the in the morning, only use the facial wash. at the end of the day, use make-up remover and then the facial wash.

The make up remover goes first. The neutrogena range is the best inexpensive range ever! The daily scrub against blackheads is the best product in my opinion, its very gentle but very thorough. I'm sure the products u bought are great too.

Hmm, I would guess that you only need one or the other.  No need to overdo it.

Do the make up remover first and then the facial wash. You'll clean better by doing so.

I've not used a lot of Neutrogena stuff, but it's a good brand. They invest a lot into it, so if it works for you, then it's great. Different products work well for different people. In fact, a good friend of mine uses Neutrogena and scarcely has a blackhead.
