  1. hi you will enjoy it but make sure you have a very good hat it is one of your main safety aids riding without is a big no no can be dangerous for anyone ....your instructer will not let you ride without one

  2. i would wear jeans with paddock boots, and a polo.

  3. k  heres what i wear when i cant find my riding pants jeans make sure they fit cause if there to short they will ride up on you legs and your saddle will pinch you. any shirt but not a nice one if its hot where something so wont be hot or cold a jacket that you could brush dirt of its the easiest if you so not have boots where any shoe with a heel no not high heels i mean like difference in high at the heel so that you can keep the stirrup on a helmet and thats preety much all you need if its really cold i would recommend gloves any are fine they do not have to be rifing gloves but they are better for gripping the reins.

    Hope this helps!

  4. Trackiies,  wellies/trainers and a top are gud.  I sometimes used to wear gloves. xx

  5. You should wear jeans (not loose jaeans) for your first lesson. This will help protect your legs and skin from the saddle from soreness and irritation. You want to wear some sort of boots. They don't have to be calve high lace up boots. Just boots with at least a 1" heal on the bottom and have protection on the boots. I wouldn't wear a track suit because your leg and thigh muscles are used for support and sturdiness of your riding. Your skin can become irritated with the pressure being it is your first riding lesson. Try that and you can always purchase the proper riding clothing later. Usually the place you will ride at will provide you with a riding helmet too, for the first few lessons if you don't have. I hope that helped and have fun. If you like horses you will love to learn to ride!

  6. Lizze your trainer should have told you ?

Wear jeans and some type of hard boot with a heel so your foot doesnt get thru the stirrup

Buy a pair of cheap ones that you can wear if you do not continue with lessons

and make sure they have you wear a helmet They should have a extra one , any good training barn would

  7. NOT TRAINERS! everybody hates people who ride in trainers

    you need at least wellies.

jeans are fine - dont go looking like a chav!

a good green fleece jacket will be fine and im sure they can fit you a hat.
