What do I wear in Ireland?

Question

I leave for Dublin and Belfast Ireland at the end of May...what clothing should I wear?

This answer may sound a little technical...but,,

clothes may be a good thing

ok seriously, ireland has a reputation for getting the 4 seasons in one day...in belfast here it was sunny this morning then turned snowing then raining all in one day.  i would bring over a variety of clothes to prepare yourself in case of cold spells and summer gear for the warmer parts.

Just dress in whatever is your usual style, but be sure to bring a warm coat and a few jumpers, you won't need a scarf or gloves or anything like that, but it would be a good idea to keep an umbrella on you when you are out and about in case you get caught in a shower.

Also bring some T-Shirts and summery clothes too as there are usually a lot of great days in May.

prepare for all eventualities.. unfortunately Ireland never got the memo that may is summer and so it could be quite cold, rainy, and hot all in the one day. quite doubtful that it'd be warm enough for shorts though. light jacket that you can take off if it gets warm and an umbrella or rain jacket

theres no certain style here, youll fit no matter what you wer,

but do bring lotsa warm clothes, jeans, jacket, scarf, hoodies,

weather can change like mad. today i woke up and it was sunny. by the afternoon it was hailstorms.meh.
