What do I wear on the first day of college???

I don't have lots of money (cuz I'm in college :( ) and I need a cute outfit that says "I'm single and looking!" Can you help me? Thanks! :)

Haha. I'm in the same position. Hm. Well, tomorrow (first day!) I was just thinking about wearing something comfy, jeans and a cute layered top that shows a little cleavage but not too much (I don't want to look S****y. Haha)

I don't think people will really care though. It's not a beauty pageant and most people can't afford much either. Just get cheap c**p from Ross like me. It looks the same as that expensive sh** anyway.

hi be conservative but make a bold statment of independence. let it be known that your there to learn not be everyones friend. it will still be kinda hot so dress light but not revealing, that sends out the wrong message to people that are only there to socialize. I hope this answer kinda helps you out in your clothing decision. my concern is only for your education and dignity. surround yourself with people that are there to be educated not molested. if you kinda follow these guidlines I can tell you one thing that you will attract the right kind of attention, and not the losers on the prowl. you really won't have to go looking it will come to you.

I agree with the girl above or whatever. People don't care as much in college. Of course, that doesn't mean you have to look ugly either. :D American Eagle has a lot of college appropriate clothing. How is the weather in your area? If it's nice and sunny, maybe khaki shorts and a cute top? If it's cooler, skinny jeans and a nice top? Wear something you're comfortable in, definitely, don't dress S****y, and dress appropriately for weather. You don't want to wear jeans when it's 100 degrees outside! Goooooood luckkkk! :)

Pajamas.  Okay, it might not say "single and looking", but it says that you....actually, I'm not sure what wearing pajamas says...but I know that it's exceptable in college.  PJs are ok.  Unless it's a snooty fancy pants school

well... you could wear just about anything cause as the other people said, it's college people won't care. I'm sure guys are going to be looking for any girl.
