What do I wear the first day of middle school?

My first day of middle school (6th grade) is on Wednesday, September 3rd. It is going to be 88 degrees and sunny that day! It is so weird, this past week it was cool outside and when school starts its gonna be hot again LOL! It is way too hot for pants, capris, or even long shorts! I want to wear regular shorts the first day of school, but I don't know if they meet the dress code! Before, last year when we went to this Move-Up day thing for Middle School to see what it is like, they said the dress code and your shorts have to be up to your hands, but there is a new principal now, and I don't know if it is the same! I'm pretty sure you're not supposed to wear spaghetti straps, so I'm gonna wear a wider tank top UNDER a halter, or spaghetti strapped shirt. I also don't know what shoes to wear! They said you can wear flipflops, but they can't bend. I have gym the first day, so I will bring an extra bag with gym clothes and sneakers for my gym locker. Also, how should I do my hair? It is medium length, about up to my shoulders, very thick, and brown. And one other thing: what is good makeup for me? I asked my mom and she said I could wear eyeliner and lip gloss. Should I wear anything else? Will I be the only one wearing it? Also, is it normal for a girl my age to pluck her eyebrows so they are perfect? Thank you!

You should put your hair up in a messy bun.

when i was in 6th grade no one wore make up or plucked there eyebrows but you can if itll make you feel better

and your outfit sounds good

the dress codes probably gunna be the same as when the old principle was there

dresses aren't prob. the best for school, at mine no one really wears dresses.

we usually wear skinny jeans but its going to be hot.

id say jean shorts, like cut levi's.

and for a top, something more girly because the shorts are most likely gonna be plain.

hair:

you can wear a meessy ponytail or bun, or keep it simple and wear something like a hairband.

makeup:

eyeliner is good, just not to much, trust me. lip gloss is an everyday use, love it.

the whole eyebrow think is fiinnee.

OMG OMG OMG im going to 6th grade on september too well i live in orange county and im gonna whear a really cute baby doll shirt and kinda  skinny jeans and a pair of converese and at my school where not aloud to wear flipflops

But really, don't try to be all flashy and extremely "high" on yourself. It's only middle school, so please do NOT look like a w***e.

Keep it simple, look natural, and most of all MODEST.
