What do I wear to a USMC graduation?

I am going to attend a boot camp graduation for the MARINES, not army, navy, or air force. (Just wanted to add that so that nobody confuses them...) I have heard that one should wear the battalion color of their marine, or the t shirt. If I wore a yellow sundress because the color of "my marine" is yellow...would that be okay?

"Casual" to "office casual." For a guy that equates to sport jacket or conservative blazer, slacks, without or with a tie. I don't know to what that equates for women. Also check the weather.

As far as color, I think that's a matter of taste. I'd say, if you know his battalion color, wear a hat or scarf that color, and wear something to complement that.

Wear your smile too.....congrats. When my son graduated boot camp I wore slacks and sweater...it was COLD!! Give your marine and hug and God bless him.

Well it depends on what part of the year you are going Parris Island can either be extremely hot and humid or very cold.  The average temperature in Beaufort in January is 49.2 degrees and in July 81.2 degrees.  As for wearing the Bn's colors its optional but once you get to Parris Island you will have many opportunities to buy a (yellow) 2nd Bn shirt.
