Hi, I'm italian but not from Milan. If you're having a night at the scala opera wear as best as possible. Trousers, jacket, shirt and tie. Go there in jeans and you'll be killed. Sometimes they don't let you in if you ain't elegant enough. If you are just visiting the building dress as you want.
