What do I wear to my fiance's 5 year high school reunion?

I am 5'7" with med-long length hair. He is from a small town, and I don't want to come over dressed, but I don't want to be under dressed either.

Smart jeans with a cheeful top as you will need to be able to move around in it and Jeans can be dressed up, small heels, belts etc or dressed down if you get there and feel over dressed you can take off the belt etc.  Put some trainers in your car to take with you for running around or is the ground is wet ( don't want grass stains on you good shoes).  Have your hair done nice, but take a hairband to put in a pony tail if need be.  Most of all, just go and have fun, confidence overcomes any fashion disater!  Good luck!!!!

Why don't you ask him to call 5 of his female classmates and ask what they are going to wear? That failing, call 5 of his male ones and ask what their partners will be wearing.

23-year olds, BBQ and a football game doesn't sound like a little black dress and high heels to me.  I suspect most of the men will be in tee-shirt and jeans, and the ones who go "formal" will be in polo shirts and Dockers.
