  1. You just write in your name, how many attending (if there is a spot for it, in the case the invite was addressed to you and guest or family), if there is a meal choice on there you choose it, or if you are not going to attend the wedding, write your name and check decline. You do not need to write out any additional info. Just provide the answers on the RSVP card that they have laid out options for.

Now if you are writing out your own RSVP as in they did not include one in the invite (this is actually the "proper" way to do it but most don't know that) just pull out some beautiful stationary and write-

Dear Bride and Groom, < insert their names

I would be delighted to attend (or not) your wedding ceremony and reception. (Note if you are bringing a guest)

I am looking forward to witnessing your marriage ceremony. SUch a blessed day it will be! Best Wishes to you both and I can't wait to see you.

    Love,

    Yourself

Just keep the invite posted on your fridge to remind yourself of the time and date.

Again word the letter (if there is not an RSVP) however you would like. Usually just some type of I will or not be attending and write a little note about looking forward to it.

    Hope this helps!

  2. hey...there are great guides on web sites...plus the package of blank cards you got should have samples in it...but no..usually it just has

Mr/Ms._____________________will or will not be attending.

or something like that ...make sure you put a stamp on it.

  3. There are tons of websites that give you different suggestions for the RSVP wording, but this is what I put:

Please let us know if you can join us in our celebration by September 12, 2008.

    M__________________________________

    _____ Attending

    _____ Not Attending

There are lots of other options, like "The favor of a response is requested by [date]" or "We look forward to celebrating with you.  Please respond by [date]."  Good luck!
