Boy, what an original question! Everyone knows when a driver has to go he just waves his hand out of the window. NASCAR throws the red flag ,stops the race and lets the that driver have a potty break. Hope that helps.

Ive never heard this question before. Interesting... I will take Beth's advice and look at the other 4000 times this has been asked and find out the answer. I know they dont like to stop at the pickle parks.

They probably sweat so much that peeing is not necessary. It's pretty hot in those fireproof suits.

For the last time, the have a toilet where the passenger seat would be. They put the car in cruise control, and slide over and do their thing.

You know people, it's not like they go every 10 minutes. They are in the car for about 4 hours. I don't know about any of you, (and I REALLY DON"T WANT TO) but I don't have to go that much in a 4 hour period.

thats why they soak them with stuff when they win, na you can hold it in for the length of a NASCAR race but some other stuff like lemans 12 or 24 hr races who knows what they do.

If you just make sure you dont drink to much you will be fine, your not thinkin about peeing when your driving  200mph and 3-4 even 5 hrs you can hold it in

Wow, that's a good question.  Maybe they go before the race, and then exercise a little self-control during the race?

You'd think someone would have already covered that subject during the many hours of pre-race coverage.  I'm amazed that it's never been brought up before now.  :  )

Well if they can't hold it for 3 or 4 hours their next pit stop should be at a doctor's office. Excluding age and abnormal health factors, everyone should be able to hold their urine for a few hours at least.

But that's not to say that they don't take advantage of situations like rain delays in which they actually have a chance to go during a race. Wasn't it last week's race that they had a delay, and Jimmie Johnson got out for a quick bathroom break and to get a snack? I believe he was the race leader at the time.

In that heat the problem didn't come up, but when it does see Forrest Gump he does a good description of bodily functions in a long distance endurance exercise.
