What do Network Admins see?

What do network admins see when I'm downloading torrent files? How will they know if someone is downloading torrent?

They will see A LOT of traffic and connections going to your computer and that might raise some flags and a more in dept inspection. Also they might look for unusual ports being used.

Admin logs normally have incoming and outgoing logs. Logs may very depending on the detail wanted, but they should have access to all of the following information. Logs from my company look like this:

Time/Date - Sender IP - Sender Port - Receiver IP - Receiver Port - Connection length - Packets sent

A more detailed log can be viewed though if needed as to the headers of the individual packets.
