I have like 5 different RCA cables for my system, and I dunno which goes where. What do the different kinds of RCA cables look like?

  1. RCA cables are usually color-coded. Red for Right Speaker, White for Left Speaker, Yellow for Video. More complex setups have other colors as well.  You can find all the color codes at What Does That Look Like: http://www.whatdoesthatlooklike.com/rca-...

  2. Just use the RCA cable that is color-coded with the port. Red, White, and Yellow is the standard RCA cable for Left and Right audio, and Yellow is for Video. The Red, Green, and Blue (RGB) cable, is high quality video, but a seperate audio cable is needed, most likely Red and White. It really doesn't matter what color you use for audio, but it's best to use Red and White.
