Interesting question.

What they have in common...a lot of sun. Warm sea. That's about it. Thailand is VERY different in just about every other way because the Thai people are very different. "Face" is a very important concept to understand in order to make sense of Thai people. Many things that happen in Thailand leave westerners scratching their heads in puzzlement.

I dont think they have much in common at all.

They are both great countries, Australia to live and Thailand to visit.

I can have a four week holiday in Thailand for a quarter the price of a holiday in Australia.

Where I am in South Australia, its freezing!!!

Only three weeks to go then I will be in Thailand.
