  1. I read the book and then noticed that a show was coming on and got all hyped up about it!  Well i work on a military base but am not a marine.  I have however asked many of them whether they have seen it or not.  Most have not seen it and seem not to care but some however like it and seem to be able to relate to being over there.  It seems that the grunts that have done a tour ot two like the show more than the more elder marines.
