  1. Watch the NBA and get tips.

  2. practice

  3. Carpet munch!!!

  4. I would like to hook up with Diana Taurasi this offseason.

  5. They play in overseas leagues, like Europe, Korea, and Australia. Mostly Europe because they pay the players 5 times what they can make in the WNBA.

  6. Most play overseas where they make a lot more $$ there.  Players like Lauren Jackson, Diana Taurasi and Sue Bird make millions to play for Spartak Moscow of the Euroleague as WNBA contracts for most players are around 50K a year, less if you're a rookie, and the franchise players make about 100K.  As with the men's Euroleague teams luring NBA players, the owners of these clubs have $$$$ and will spend it for quality talent.  Becky Hammon of San Antonio also is playing in Russia for millions of dollars and that's where her playing in Russia thing came about.  They also get free housing and tax free salaries, like what Josh Childress will be getting too.  Most WNBA players easily make 6 digits by playing overseas, AND they get more $$ on top of that with shoe contracts with Nike and Adidas, believe it or not.  South Korea and Australia also have well paying women's basketball leagues and WNBA players also play there too.

Some also are broadcasters, mostly for women's college hoops, like former player Stacey Dales and Sacramento guard Kara Lawson.  Seattle F Swin Cash has done some NBA sideline stuff as well.  Others are assistant coaches, and some have become head coaches of college programs like former players Jennifer Rizzotti (Hartford) and Dawn Staley (South Carolina).

The bad part about the WNBA players is that they are playing hoops year round, at least most of them, so they never get much of a break.  You may wonder why they're willing to play in the WNBA if the Euroleagues pay more.  Simple, the WNBA gives better media exposure and promotes the game out, especially for younger girls, and there are a lot of young girl hoops players who want to be the next Sue Bird or Diana Taurasi or Candace Parker, instead of MJ and Magic 20 or even 10 years ago, which isn't a bad thing.

  7. they have babies...

  8. Practice duh

  9. they go shopping....work it girl!

  10. Many (75%) go over to Europe (Russia is a popular destination) to play in the off-season.  The pay over there is actually much better than the WNBA.
