What do YOU think of Ted Nugent?

Saw him on the Glen Beck Show the other night. I'm familiar with his music and other projects. Also familiar with his politics. What do you think?

Ted’s inconsistent, but he’s interesting.

He’s for freedom, but he hates ‘the poisons.’

He’s in favor of free trade, but not at the expense of American jobs.

He’s anti-immigration (the illegal kind).

He’s pro-military, but he’s anti-spending.

He’s a good speaker, and he hosts the Limbaugh show sometimes.

(personally, I like him better than Rush because he’s more intelligent).

He hates Social Security – but I’m pretty sure he doesn’t know how well FDR’s plan would have worked if Congress hadn’t ‘borrowed’ seven trillion dollars from the trust fund..

If you want more, write me. If you live in Michigan and he runs for Governor there, he’s worth considering.

I don't like him because he goes hunting in cages, that is, he shoots at game inside pens. That's unfair. Plus, we don't need to kill animals for decoration or for their fur, if you eat it, fine, but killing JUST for sport is always pathetic and inhumane.

well, he thinks of himself as the "alpha" male, and as he says, there is only room enough for one. His stance on hunting, "you gotta kill it to grill" does make sense. I suppose you have to respect someone who kills his own food. Most of us go to grocery stores to buy our meat, and then don't have the heart to do the killing.

otherwise, i'd say ted is a total fool
