I prefer the three down way better than American faster and more exiting plus are player are way bigger and faster.

Can be exciting, can be a punt-fest.

The league needs to do something about single points scored on missed field goals.  Why should someone be rewarded for missing?  I suppose the point forces players to return missed kicks every now and then, but when a guy misses from 20 yards or closer there should be no free point for futility.

The league also needs to crack down heavily on salary cap violations.  Everyone needs to be on an equal footing.

It is a punt-fest.  That is the problem with three down football.  It is seemingly always Second and Long.

the single is on there for consistancy,  i like how you can score on a punt or kickoff,  and there are more experimental plays,  such as a kicker drilling a line drive kickoff straight at the first player on the kick return, the ball bouncing off him and back to the kickers team for a legal onside style kick, with normal formation

I love it though I grew up with it here in Canada.   Tougher with 3 downs, not as easy as if you had 4 downs in American football so you have to improvise more and 20 seconds to put the ball in play means a faster flow to the game than American football.  I love both American and Canadian football, it's all gridiron.  Sure, overall the best and most high profile players are in the NFL but the CFL is a great league in it's own right and Canadian football dates back to the 1800's with a long and storied history with the first Grey Cup, Canada's football championship, being played in 1909.  A lot of Canadians don't know much about their own history and traditions unfortunately, well, except the smart ones that is!

Love it!  The CFL is a great league with terrific football!  Can you imagine NFL players playing the game with CFL rules?  Oh my goodness, the games would be unbelievable!  As it is now the CFL still has excellent athletes and a fantastic product, so I think it is great.  I would love to see a team back in Ottawa again, and then add a 10th team out east to make it a truly national league.

i think the cfl has a much faster game then the nfl. the only problem i have with the cfl is the ownerships. And i wish they would expand by 2 more teams. i think halifax and quebec city would do very well.

It's far more wide open and exciting than the NFL. Sure, there are more punts, but every punt in-bounds must be returned, and having to give five yards allows the returners to produce exciting plays.

Having the entire backfield potentially in motion, and even more importantly, having a yard between teams at the line os scrimmage, combined with a wider field, allow for much more movement and action.

I've been watching since the mid 1950s, and one perpetual problem is the same, the movement of players, particularly Americans, too many players tried and discarded in favour of the next batch of NFL cuts. And if you've watched in a stadium lately, the TV commercial breaks are interminable, especially when it's minus-10 in Winnipeg and there's a 50 k/h wind blowing in from the prairie.
