  1. Americans do not have the continuity and stability that the Royals provide.  So the Americans "borrow" the British Royals.

    best of luck to you!

  2. I scarcely ever think about the British royal family. I suppose some Americans like their poise, their nice clothes, their careful use of the English language, and their proper British accents. To me, though, they're just an English family whose past is much more interesting than their present.

  3. They are fun to laugh at.

  4. We get to enjoy all the pomp and circumstance--not to mention all the royal scandals--but we don't have to foot the bills for their upkeep.

  5. The best thing is that they are not americans

  6. Gawking  at the monkeys..... a study in primitive anthropology

  7. I don't give a hoot about the british royal family.  Pretty much redundant.  They should give all their money, palaces and jewels to the people of Britian.

  8. i don't like or dislike anything about them. they really aren't part of our culture and what they do doesn't affect me in any way. they just are.

  9. Do we really or is it just media hype?

  10. Zionism

  11. The Queen. ooh and the Palace guards who protect the Queen (bless her)

  12. I'm not sure. Perhaps it's something residual. Back in the Revolution, only about a third of the population supported the insurrection. Another third were opposed to it, and another third didn't care. I know I have ancestors who fled to Canada, and some of them returned to the US much later. Does that have anything to do with it? Probably not. Who knows? But the Queen is pretty cool!

  13. We don't.
