  1. Just what South America needs, yet another petty, egomaniacal, dictator.  He's a loud-mouthed rat.  What a tired old story south of the border.  The Venezuelan people need an American style revolution, not another corrupt tyrant.

He needs to be bi+ch slapped.

  2. I do not know anything about Hugo Chavez, Other than he is Mexicos leader and I hope he discontinues the practice of handing out supply packages to those who want to come here illegally.

  3. He is one of the few politicians with less credibility that our president.

I think he is hilarious.  Everything he says is absurd.

  4. A complete tyrant, fool, narcissist. A shameful power hungry moron...

  5. The difference in between Chavez and Bush is that one mumbles in Spanish and the other in English, the brains are made at the same factory.

I think as a single American I can't talk for the other 400 million, that he's from the 20th century, outdated, like Bush, and it is not him, but who's behind him, supporting his circus?

  6. I really know very little about Hugo Chavez.  He was elected by the people of Venezuela in two elections, so I was willing to allow these folks to have their choice of leaders.  Recently, I did see a program where huge crowds were demonstrating against him, so perhaps it hasn't worked out as well as they expected.  I think it concerned the governmental takeover of a popular television network.

He seems to be a bit of a loudmouth, emotional, demonstrative. He likes attention and he likes to provoke Bush.

However, it would be much better if there were cordial relations between our own country and all other countries. With Chavez hooking up with Castro and other South American leaders, we may face an alliance in the future. China and Russia are also possible co-enemies.  We need a leader who has a knack for diplomacy, doesn't constantly threaten attack, and straightens out our foreign relations. To me, Bush and Chavez have some similar traits.

  7. Buffoon, MR, Developmentally disabled, moron, dangerous.

  8. He is just a power thirsty ignorant thug.

But smart enough to find the right formula of populism, demagogy, anti-Americanism and anti-democratic practices to manage retain power, probably indefinitely.

  9. I try not to think of him at all, but when I do Images of Mussolini pop into my head.

  10. Yugo Chavez' greatest hero is prolly Pee Wee Herman.  Yugo is just another 3rd World mini-dictator.
