i've asked this question to many people, here's what i found out....

americans who haven't been there:  they think its a jungle party with beautiful women in small bikinis

americans who have been there [me included]:  they fall in love with the people, the attitude, the music, the food, the scenery, the way of life, they love it!

I think American have Brazilians stereotyped just like every other race.  They believe that they are exotic, very sexual, uninhibited people who are poor for the most part. Not all true.

now this is odd because my mom is brazilian but i was born here. i have viseded brazil and it is much like a rural form of america. yes there is forest but not all over and many people live verry well in brazil. and there are beautiful ladies. i am moving there with my parents,brother and pets in a week(july 11th) so if you wanna know more about brazil feel more than welcome to e-mail me at [e-mail]

I bet they think we are monkeys in the trees or some kind of uninteligent race... they just go to the beaches and behave like animals on thinking they´re the best, our girls are hot and they can have as much s*x as they want. Otherside they build huge factories, they steal our money and make our people slaves... and then they go to bed and pray and forget that all this hungry children in the "dangerous" favelas don´t have nothing to eat, no school, no hispitals, because AMERICA explores them, sucking their blood and soul every single day in different ways... I´m sorry, but that´s how a brazilian sees the usa.

Why some brazilians think that they are not american if Brazil is inside American continent?

Why almost all "americans" think that America is the name of their country (USA) and only they are americans and may be called americans? Lack of culture, schools,  books and acess to internet, or, excess of something that I don't know what?

Brazilians are the friendly and talkative people who inhabit in South America. They love to play soccer, to dance and to party. They also work hard and are very creative.
