  1. Well....

As everybody knows that astronaut has a special suit

for going in the space .

    Its all about it !

space suits protect astronauts when they go outside their spacecrafts . The clear plastic helmet also protects against

    radiationand misrometeoroids .

oxygen is circulated around the helmet to stop the visor misting !

Varios diferent  gadgets  in  the  suit  deal with  liquids  -

including a tube for collecting urine ..

& now we come to food..

A tube`s attached into the suit which provide them drinks &

they can have food in their space crafts ...

Astonauts have the oxygen system in their rockets too !

They have to change their tanks of oxgen after every seven hours  . & you know the cost of the suit is $10 million !

sooo thats ...how it is !

  2. I am sure  you knwo that gravitational force is less in space or no gravity at all. Normal foodstuff we eat on Earth travel down the alimentary canal by gravity to liver and stomach. So astronaut's food is specially made to slide down the alimentary canal under low gravity and provide strength & vigor. Essential aminoacids and salt to sustain the astronaut are provided in liquid form.

  3. I'm sure that for the first few days, anyone going into space, or that is already there have lost their appetite for any sort of food.  However, I feel that the food that they do have has been processed especially for those who will be using the food.  Don't ya' think.  I'm sure that they do, in fact, eventually eat something that can give them some energy, because whomever, would be going into space would require as much, or more energy than someone not going into space.  I've seen that some pureed fruit has been presented for consumption, and also things like soft taco shells and somekind of meat, or filling.  I'm sure that it has been thought out by someone much smarter that myself, a Dr. or someone at NASA , or someone like that, in Russia, plans these things for the astronauts and cosmonauts.

  4. Food

  5. A guy who is on his own. Makes sure that he doesn't overeat.

Food has been said to be the one way to a man's heart.

Jesus wants you to be in your heart.

If this is done he wants you to serve him first.

  6. light foods like juices etc......

  7. Actually they carry their fav.food item in the form of hard solid.when they are about to eat, they add some hot water to those solid food packets. This is how they eat in space!!!

  8. I have read that when menus are being prepared for astronauts in space, all gas-producing foods are avoided.

  9. most of the same things they eat on earth.

they have to be careful not to have food that makes crumbs that will float around and get in to the machinery. their equipment to prepare food is a bit basic, little more than hot water.

i'm told that fluids redistributing in your body after being in space for a while (hence all the puffy faces on iss crews) messes up your sense of smell, altering (or eliminating) the taste of a lot of food.

  10. Earlier they used to eat freeze-dried foods and Tang. Today's astronauts eat gourmet meals by comparison.
