  1. That's extremely broad. What kind of anthropologists? Some have a part in city planning, medical research, especially in infectious disease that's spread through social and cultural practices to help stop the spread of them. Linguistic/cultural anthropologist have contributed a great deal to the education system making it more cohesive for those of different cultures, especially after segregation and the introduction of native americans in to the public school system. It's really hard to answer this question because anthropology is a broad term. Basically anthropology exists to help people understand humanity, what we are why. This helps in many ways. For instance, a misunderstanding of races formed the concept of eugenics which basically fueled the holocaust. We have anthropologists to research that sort of thing and prevent crimes against humanity.

  3. THEY JUST APE AROUND TRYING TO FIND WHAT MAKES UP THE 6% OF OUR DNA THAT ISNT RELATED TO APES.

  4. They study the evolution of mankind, and they do all sorths of things from teaching evolution, genetics, etc.
