  1. Ball pythons dont liked to be held much but support their neck and dont touch their head

  2. They like you to support their entire body. Mine likes to climb on my neck. Just let her go where she wants to (to a certain point). Make sure where she wants to go is safe. My red tailed boa likes to climb on me and he also likes to explore, as does my ball python. I hope this helps.

  3. i find they like it when you support their entire body, especially when picking them up. my older ones like to chill on my neck and shoulders. i trust them not to freak out or get too tight. my 2 year old female will just sit there around my neck. she loves to lay under my hair. she is weird and sometimes sleeps under her water bowl (dont ask) so my hair is warm to her. sometimes they climb on my head but they tend to fall so i have to hold them too. just try not to flip them upside down or in a weird position. think of someone holding you like your holding the snake, that should help you more.

with my boa, even though you said ball python, i put him around one of my arms and he sits like that. he is 5 1/2 feet long so its hard to hold him. he likes to put his nose on the tips of my hair :) i dont what it is with hair.
