Question:

What do brads look like on the back?

So I want to glue some things on a rubicks cube squares and found brads... but I really dont know what they are, and I dont know what they look like on the back... hopefully they are flat.

Also what section of Michaels would they be in? Scrapbooking?

  1. I thought that brads were small metal tacks.....so I would look over in the wood area if michaels' has one.  Or Lowes.


  2. Unless you have steel cutters and want to expend some serious energy modifying the brads, this might not work for you.

    Brads are actually circle on the top, but the bottom has two prongs which would normally slip through a hole in paper and you flip the paper over and then separate the prongs and it holds paper together. (have you ever seen the folders with the prong things inside to hold papers? Thats what a brad does)

    Maybe buttons could work? If you go to a local craft store you will find all different shapes and sizes and you can paint them to work the way you want them to.
