What do butterflies eat?

also... when they are done for the day do they all have a nest together or do they live alone?

  2. What a fun question! They 'eat' nectar. They suck it up into their body with a long 'tube' from their mouth parts. If you like butterfly's you can create a butterfly garden that can attract them! Here is a good site to check out, it has all kinds of info!

    Also, there is a yearly migration of Monarch butterflys to Mexico, which has become a tourist attraction, billions of them fly and swarm to one big area. I would love to see it sometime!
