  1. e85 and regular gas

  2. Yeah, E85 and regular fuel. E85 is mostly found in the midwest, with something like 85% of all fueling stations in the midwest. E85 is somewhat cleaner burning but does have slightly lower efficiency.

  3. They run on regular gasoline. but, they are flexibly fueled. meaning that they have the ability to run on E85 wich is 85 percent ethanol and 15 percent gasoline which means, it's cleaner burning, better for performance, enviromentally friendly, and supports energy independence. For a search of stations near you that offer e85 fuel for flexfuel fitted vehicles. go to.....      http://www.e85refueling.com/

    hope this helps.

  4. usually regular fuel or E85.  E85 is hard to find in some cities though.

  5. Chevy has suburban, sliverado, impala, and others, ford and dodge also offer variants.

in my opinion, flex fuel is not better. (just from the e-85 standpoint)  A flex fuel will not cost you ant more to have the technology on the car from the factory.  it will however cost you when you put the quarter cheaper gas (e-85) due to decreased power and decreased gas mileage.  running on regular gasoline will get the same mileage.  i would get one if i had the option and wanted that particular vehicle just in case the govt does something stupid like require that all new vehicles have it, and start phasing out the 90/10 gasoline that we can currently buy.

I would go CNG if looking for a new car right now... costs about $0.90 per gallon to fill up at home, or $1.10 per gal to fill up at a local service station.  CNG vehicles typically do not cost any more than a new gasoline vehicle. You should research that you have one locally before buying.  If you have Natural Gas in your area, the office for whichever utility it is might have a public filling station, you should check it out.
