What do certain hugs mean?

My sister always gives me a nice big hug, like a bear hug. My sis likes giving hugs like that. My friend she gives little pats and the same for my guy friend. It's just a very quick pat and thats it. Do those hugs mean anything? Do they not like hugging? I don't know. I just feel that the hugs my friends give me are kind of cold and distant. They might mean something but then again they might not. I'm just curious about this.

Those "pats" still mean she cares. Me and my friends almost never give each other bear hugs. Just pats. And no, thier not cold and distant. You're just used to your sister's hugs!!

The way UR sis hugs means she likes ya as a brother/sister it sounds like.

I give out the patted hugs, but I do it just because. UR friend probably does it just because too. That or she does it to show U that she knows who she's hugging and that they're there.
