I am a high school sophomore, and I REALLY want to become a medical doctor or something in healthcare, so I am focusing on math and science (I am still taking the required classes including Enriched English, Band, US History, Phy ed)

This is what my senior course list is planned out to be (tentatively)

AP English

AP Chemistry

AP Calculus

AP Statistics

Band

American Citizenship

Psychology

Choir

Physics

Biology (kingdoms)

Extracurriclurs: International Club, Forensics, Key Club, SADD, Theatre (all starting in 10th grade)

Volunteer: Local hospital, Area animal shelter

Sports: Skiing, Track

  1. They USED to like it when a person was 'well-rounded'--when they took a wide selection of courses. Now they like it when you are passionate about one thing...for example, I'm really in to writing and English, so my AP classes were in English, I went to writing camps at universities over the college, I had my own column in the school newspaper and was published in the town paper, etc...and I was told over and over that all this was good.
