SAT scores, Ap classes, grades (GPA), attendance, after school activities, community service or sport?

I took a college course this summer and my teacher told me when accepting students, the administrators put the pile of straight A's student on the side and look at the students who struggled at first, but does well later on. This made me a little nervous because I fall in the category of being valedictorian.
