What do colleges look at mostly if your trying to get into a good nursing program??

I'm a junior in high school and i was just wondering what will colleges be most interested in if you want to get in good nursing program

  1. Volunteering hours at a local hospital will always look good on any academic resume, whether you choose to go into a medical related field or not. Overall, community service is a good way to get a good nod from those sitting on the admissions committee. It shows you have the heart to give back in your community and in the case of being a nurse or doctor, have the interest, desire and passion to help others, which is crucial in medicine/nursing. Hope this helps! Don't forget to keep up those grades!! The minimum required GPA is often C+, but the competitive GPA is much higher, often in the B+ to A range!
