What do color labels mean?

What's the difference between red and blue label? I don't really drink but someone asked me and I didn't have the slightest clue.

you must be talking bout johnnie walker: it is scotch

the red label ; is a single malt good for mixing

blue label ;  is very expensive and hard to find its very smooth and drank straight.

black label ;  is very popular its in the middle of the red and blue and can be mixed or drank straight. you can also go to their site they have tastings as well and they are very informative and a lot of fun !! :)

It varries from brand to brand.  The colours either mean better quality or higher proof than the standard product.
