What do dreams about people trying to break in mean?

I am staying in a caravan in Australia and I keep having dreams that I am sleeping and someone is trying to break in. I locked the door to the caravan before I went to bed and my dream was that someone kept shaking the door and trying to get in

You clearly need to protect something.

Are you a witness to people who waste time and energy and you're afraid they will suck you into this behavior as well?  

In your dream is the caravan in the desert?  If so, this could be a work related issue.
