  1. Not sure about triaxle speakers, not something comonly heard of in aus, sorry.  I believe you are talking about a three way speaker, one with a woofer and three high frequency speakers all in one?

These are ok if you are not into great sounding stereos, they offer midbass (cant really produce low bass) and three stages of highs.  If you want good sound I would be suggesting a component set - (midbass and separate tweeter)

As for the rattle, it sounds like there may be two things that it could be.

One on the back of your subwoofer there are two "spider wires" that go from the terminals to the speaker itself.  Sometimes these from use/old age or being bumped fold in and touch the speaker.  This may cause the noise you are hearing.  Be very careful to fold them back out as they can be dislodged easy especially if old.

Or number two, dirt/dust has worked its way down into the speaker and is grinding in between the magnet and the speaker pole.  Nothing can be done except throw them away an get another set as the magnet holds it in and the speakers cant be pulled apart.  To test this theory make sure your stereo is off, gently using a downward motion and two fingers either side push on the woofer of your speaker on the outer part nearest the cone (flexible part) depressing around 1cm letting it return and then do it again, if a grinding noise is heard that then is probably your problem.
