    P - means 'p' metric size tire

    225 - 225 mm tread width

    60 - aspect ratio - the heighth of the tire is equal to 60% of the tread width

    Z - is the speed rating and indicates the top speed the tire will endure over an extended period.

    16 -  wheel rim size in inches
