What do herbivores eat in the winter in the arctic?

  1. There aren't any herbivores in the artic.  The only thing that would eat plants in the artic would be plankton but it would be microscopic.  Herbivores live in the Tundra.  The differnce is that the artic is frozen and the tundra is cold but not completly frozen.


  2. I live just south of the arctic circle....Moose and caribou  eat lots and lots of plants and lots and lots of leaves...willows do not stand a chance..I have seen moose in my backyard grab a shoot off a willow tree, and just strip the leaves off in one motion/
