What do i ask for at the barber shop if i want a haircut like the army rangers get?

it is bald on the sides and long on top, do i ask for a military cut or high and tight

Tell them you want a High and Tight and some barber shops should be able to do a razor fade which is were they shave the sides of your head

Rangers in the 75th Ranger Regiment don't get "high and tights" anymore. The hair is grown out a lot more and generally looks like what a civilian would look like, as long as the hair doesn't go over the ears, sideburns no longer than mid earlobe, and clean and neat appearance. We did away with the high and tights awhile back for tactical reasons.

You'll probably see a lot of the guys at the Ranger Training Brigade ( which isn't a part of the 75th Ranger Regiment) with high and tights.
