  1. Put a hotpocket in the trap.

the Brealfast hot pockets work best.

  2. We've always used catfood.

  3. peanut butter has worked very well for me in the past.

  4. Lots of good answers. Among my many talents I an also a registered trapper. My go to bait for coon is canned cat food with a fishy smell. There are several brands just look for whatever is on sale and contains fish.

  5. They'll go after pretty much anything, try some tuna or some wet dog/cat food.

  6. you can use anything from peanut butter, to fish guts. Anything should do the trick. just make sure you put it far enough in the trap that is hopefully big enough. them things are smart believe it or not. i see them reach in a trap and take the food all the time, and escaping with nothing more then a little sting on the back or arm, from the trapdoor.

  7. anything, tuna works well

  8. well coons are actually in the bear family with some of the same genetics. their nose is exceptional. Keep your traps clean for med. to small coon i prefer a live trap. they are very cleaver and can figure things out. trap on a rainy night. don`t give them a routine they will figure you out. Bait natural coon urine bottled.found at any sport shop.

  9. Any left over food should do the trick. I hate them little suckers!

  10. I trap raccoons on a fairly regular basis and I use canned cat food and it has never let me down

  11. This is one of the best baits right here:

    Canned Dog Food

but you also have to be carefull Skunks like it to.

  12. dog food

  13. Cracked corn will be good.

  14. peanut butter works good, so does tuna

  15. sardines or potted meat works.
