What do i do? I can't charge my laptop! :[?

Well my laptop is a dell latitude d810. The problem is ever since i got the laptop i can't charge it! I always have to have the charger cord in my laptop or it doesn't work! if i take the charger out when my laptop is on it turns off my laptop! i took out the battery one time and the laptop still works. One of my cousins told me that my battery isn't installed? So then how do i install the battery? I've tried going on dell.com i don't find anything helpful?

I really need help! I'm about to go to the Philippines and i need a laptop in order to finish my online schooling. Any help? (:

look at the back side of your laptop. Probably battery is not in its place. You must have got a battery sort of catridge shape, which you can dock in, Usually its on the base of your laptop.

question is, do you have a battery ?

contact dell.  the battery is old, get a new one.  the charger cord is fine, battery is bad.
